Bernardo is a maker of high quality women’s footwear.

Founded in 1946 by Bernard Rudofsky, Bernardo has a rich heritage, which lives on to this very day. After living and working in Florence Italy for over 20 years, Bernardo designers Dennis and Lynne Comeau relocated to Santa Fe New Mexico in August of 2006.

All Bernardo products are conceptually designed, and are crafted by hand with great attention to detail, in order to insure quality, comfort, fit, and value.

Bernardo is most famous for it’s classic and timeless "Miami" sandal (U.S. Patent No. D 487,183 Trademark ®). Dating back to the company’s beginning, the "Miami" sandal was a favorite of the jet set, and Lilly Pulitzer crowd during the 60’s and 70’s. Yet still today, the "Miami" sandal, is as new and fresh as ever before.
